APPEARANCE; VISUAL: In addition to being very tall, Caitlyn has the posture of someone who had a book balanced on her head until she could walk without it falling. Overall, she is neat and clean in a way that prioritizes practicality over appearance. She doesn't wear jewelry; she has no piercings - not even her ears - or tattoos; her fingernails are short, neatly trimmed, and unpainted; and her hair is neatly combed, usually worn down or simply pulled back in a ponytail. She has fair skin and a complexion that makes it clear she can afford expensive skincare products and suncream, hair that's a dark enough shade of blue that it looks black in dim lighting, and absurdly bright blue eyes. Her build is lean and athletic, but her muscles are more the result sports than manual labour or fighting. She has a tiny gap between her two front teeth(tasteless joke about british dentistry goes here). She's the fantasy equivalent of white British descent on her mother's side and East Asian descent on her father's.
AURAL: Her accent isn't quite the over-the-top posh British accent that one might associate with the real life Royal Family, but she does sound like she could look herself up in Burke's Peerage. This is a girl who was almost definitely stuck inside having private elocution lessons while all the other kids were outside having fun and making friends. Take a listen.

DEMEANOR: On first glance, the furrowed brow and slight permanent frown might give one the impression that Caitlyn is aloof or stand-offish. Sometimes the frown is concentration, sometimes it's concern, but it's also just kinda her resting face. She can put up a tough front, and can get very awkward and, frankly, weird in situations where she's uncomfortable. But if you're nice to her, and especially if you're in need of help, she will quickly become friend-shaped.

Caitlyn is the scion of House Kiramman, one of the founding families of Piltover, a prosperous merchant city-state in the world of Runeterra. Piltover was founded about 200 years ago as a refuge against a great war fought by mages, which decimated entire populations and drove some races nearly to extinction. It is composed of a utopian overcity, Piltover proper, and a dark and improverished undercity built down into fissures, referred to by its inhabitants as Zaun. Piltover is governed by the Ethos, a code of laws that, among other things, very strictly prohibits any tampering with magic. Caitlyn's mother sits on the Council, the oligarchic ruling body of the city, and Caitlyn is expected to one day inherit her mother's position.
When Caitlyn was a child, her parents decided to sponsor a promising young Academy student named Jayce Talis, with whom Caitlyn became very close. Secretly, Jayce was studying a way to harness the power of magic through technology. Though this was very much against the Ethos, his eventual success led to his instant overnight celebrity and cemented Piltover's place as the City of Progress.
As a young adult, Caitlyn joined the police force of Piltover, the enforcers, and dedicated herself to the investigation of crime in Zaun. She came to the radical conclusion that the bulk of the undercity's crime was organized by and stemmed from the efforts of one individual. After being unceremoniously fired by the corrupt sheriff at the behest of her overprotective parents, Caitlyn took it upon herself to prove her theory. She went to Stillwater Prison and broke out a prisoner: a young woman named Vi who claimed to know the criminal mastermind that Caitlyn was hunting.
Caitlyn and Vi embarked on a journey together through Zaun. Over the course of their adventure, Caitlyn began to realize just how badly Zaun was suffering, not just from the machinations of criminal overlords, but from the brutality, apathy, and corruption of the enforcers and Piltover's ruling elite.
